Maifan Spheres or maifanite activation balls (also called Maifanite ceramsite) are a type of mineralised ball formed by sintering maifanite with clay as the main functional material. Using advanced technology, the sphere are considered a type of aseptic and pollution-free mineraliser. Maifan Spheres help increase oxygen concentration in water, remove pollutants, heavy metals and release minerals and trace elements effectively improving water quality and enhancing the health of aquatic life.

Maifan Spheres are non-toxic and harmless. The main chemical component is inorganic aluminosilicate which includes Sl2O3, Fe2O3, FeO, MgO, CaO, k2O, Na2O, TiO2, p2O5 and MnO. It also contains all the necessary constant elements which shrimp need such as: K, Na, Ca, Mg, Cu, Mo and other trace elements.
