Protein Skimmers

The “Nano” model series has been designed for use in reef biotopes up to 200 litres (52 US gal.), and is gentle to plankton in operation. The DOC Skimmer 9002 removes up to 80 per cent of organic waste matter, such as protein and cellulose, from the aquarium water. Very little space is required in the aquarium, and installation and maintenance is very easy.

The Berlin Air-Lift is a high performance, low cost internal skimmer based on the Berlin Triple-Pass principle. The Air-Lift is powered by a lime wood air-stone attached to an external air pump (not supplied), these compact units are easy to install and maintain.

TUNZE® Nano Reefpack 200 constitutes a new water treatment concept for small reef aquariums from 40 to 200 litres (10.5 to 52.8 USgal.). It consists of a Nano DOC Skimmer 9002 with a 150-litre (39 USgal.) air output, a mechanical Nano Cleaner with a pump (800 l/h / 211 USgal./h) and a magnet holder.

Upgrade Kit: Contains Surface Skimmer and Media Basket.

Recommended for aquariums up to 1,000 litres (264 USgal.) of salt water.

The system consists of a DOC Skimmer 9011 with an air output of 650 l/h (171.1 USgal./h), a mechanical quick-run filter fitted with Turbelle® e-jet 1605 and Osmolator 3155. Comline Reefpack 505 ensures direct removal of dissolved organic compounds and suspended detritus from the aquarium without a bio filter, and thus is never in competition with the bio-dynamics in the aquarium biotope.

All natural wooden, non-toxic air stones can be used for many different applications. Provide your aquarium with the oxygenation needed with Red Sea wooden air stones.
