Is a carbon dioxide distributor, used to introduce higher CO2 volumes into fresh-water aquariums when little space is available. By means of a universal magnet holder it is attached directly on the margin of the aquarium and ensures a distribution of up to four CO2 bubbles per second.

For aquariums from 200 to 1,000L. TUNZE® Aquarientechnik was the first manufacturer to build a CO2 controlled calcium reactor. A pump is used to pass the water enriched with carbon dioxide through the hardness granulate. The carbon dioxide reacts with water to produce carbon dioxide gas and dissolves the calcium carbonate. The hardened water leaves the reactor through a control valve.

The Automatic Calcium Dispenser 3170 can be supplemented with a second reaction stage. A Comline housing is fitted with an additional granulate chamber. They can be placed next to each other and can be connected with a hose to increase the efficiency by about 20 per cent, neutralise the carbon dioxide at the outlet of the reactor and more.

Fluval CO2 Indicator Kit is used to monitor approximate CO2 levels and also helps gauge CO2 levels in aquariums. The kit includes a 10 mL (0.34 fl oz) CO2 Indicator Liquid, CO2 Indicator, and a colour check sticker to help gauge CO2 levels.
